Modern technology has taken banking to the next level. Ease, speed, enjoyment, and convenience are rewriting the history of the banks. Working at Numbrs I learned the current gaps in the mobile banking area, and I was committed to changing the game's rules.

This is a NDA protected project and more details can't be provided.

MY ROLE

At Numbrs, I was employed as a Graphic Designer in the marketing department from 2018 to 2020. I was responsible for developing and producing various design materials for all on- and offline branding, advertising, and communications activities by managing design, typography, overall visual identity, and strategy. My responsibilities expanded when "marketing" and "product" teams became one team. I was incredibly excited to have daily direct contact with software engineers and product owners. At that stage, I was involved in UI tasks and projects for applications based on iOS and the Apple Watch.

PERSONAL LEARNINGS

Thanks to my experience at Numbrs, I understood that the time for learning never ends. Marketing fintech is no easy feat because it faces a unique set of challenges that simply don't apply – or at least don't apply to the same extent – to most other industries.

My most significant learning has been "Shouting loudly is not the answer – Be helpful and educate with simplicity".

I was also involved in some product-related projects, which helped me become increasingly agile and adopt a flexible mindset to better design systems and create an excellent collaboration environment with designers and developers.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Rebranding (logo and app icon), including merchandising and stationary material;

  • Web site, social media campaigns, and motion graphic;

  • In-App contest and promotional material;

  • Wireframes and app prototypes to showcase the new product features;

  • Project for the Apple Watch app.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Outstanding results for the rebranding, social media and email campaigns, blog contents, and marketing strategies, as recognized by top management;

  • Increased the rating in the App Store and Play Store from 4+ stars to 4.5+ stars and became the most downloaded financial app in Germany for several weeks;

  • Participated with success in the launch of the app in the UK;

  • In the first 3 weeks of the UK launch, ranked in the Top 20 apps of the Apple App Store charts in the category "finance".
